Welcome to the Center

The Texas Research Center for Social Dynamics (TRCSD) is an independent research organization devoted to the study of interpersonal, familial, and demographic patterns. The Center compiles, analyzes, and publishes findings intended to inform public discussion and the work of researchers and institutions.

The Center does not provide individual counseling, legal advice, or clinical services, and it has no regulatory or enforcement authority. Its work is observational and statistical in nature. All published findings are made available to the public free of charge.

What We Do

• Collect and maintain longitudinal data on household formation, dissolution, and demographic change.
• Conduct periodic studies on courtship, partnership stability, and family structure.
• Publish plain-language briefs and technical reports for public use.
• Respond to public requests for non-confidential aggregate data.
